Maci was born and raised in Gonzales, Louisiana. After graduating from East Ascension High School, Maci attended Louisiana State University where she graduated magna cum laude in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in Sociology.
After completing her undergraduate degree, Maci received her Juris Doctor and Graduate Degree in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, graduating cum laude. During her time at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, she was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar, a Paul M. Hebert Scholar, a Leo Gold Scholarship award winner, and a two-time CALI Excellence award winner for receiving the highest grade in her class in both Comparative Maritime Personal Injury & Death and International Environmental Law. Maci went on to serve as a junior and senior associate of the Louisiana Law Review. She also spent time studying comparative law abroad at Jean Moulin University III located in Lyon, France.
Maci previously worked as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge John W. DeGravelles in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana and as a law clerk for the Louisiana State Law Institute.
Outside of work, Maci loves traveling, spending time with her Schnauzer (Lucy) & Airedale Terrier (Charlie), and cheering on her alma mater, the LSU Tigers.
